Carmine Shores
A collection of traditionally inspired house plans by William E. Poole.

Plan NOHCYC 2029
Italianate detailing was a popular architectural motif in the nineteenth century. This appealing home, modeled on one built in New Orleans in the 1870s displays graceful arches that connect chamfered columns. The use of modillions as opposed to dentils, as well as a hipped roof, are other features of the Italianate style. Inside, interior columns separate the foyer from the expansive great room. The dramatic stairwell is open to the second floor veranda.
